Trust & Safety
Built for ethical finance interview preparation.
TheFinanceRoom is a marketplace for educational preparation. It is not an investment advice platform, a trading signal service or a source of confidential employer content. Candidates and finance professionals should know what is allowed before a session begins.
Ethical preparation policy
Sessions are for mock interviews, CV review, technical explanation and structured feedback. They are not channels for employer secrets or restricted materials.
No confidential employer content
Candidates must not ask for, and finance professionals must not provide, confidential employer information, internal documents, client data or non-public market information.
No leaked or proprietary questions
TheFinanceRoom does not sell leaked interview questions, proprietary interview scripts or exact employer question banks.
Finance professional conduct standards
Experts are expected to be accurate about their background, comply with employment obligations and avoid implying employer endorsement.
Candidate conduct standards
Candidates are expected to be respectful, punctual and focused on legitimate preparation rather than circumvention or restricted content.
Payments and data privacy
Payments may be processed by Stripe. TheFinanceRoom records booking, refund and payout states while avoiding storage of raw card details.
Reporting abuse or policy violations
Messages and sessions can be reviewed for harassment, payment circumvention, confidentiality risk, no-shows and dispute handling.
Meeting quality checks
Where disclosed, meeting metadata and transcripts can support attendance verification, quality review and dispute prevention.
No job guarantee
Preparation can improve readiness, but TheFinanceRoom does not guarantee jobs, offers, promotions, interview success or admissions.
No investment advice
TheFinanceRoom is not a trading signal, investment advice, portfolio recommendation, tax advice or legal advice service.
