Interviewer Terms and Conditions

1. Independent status

Interviewers use TheFinanceRoom as independent professionals. They are not employees, agents or representatives of TheFinanceRoom. They decide whether to create a profile, set availability, offer services and accept bookings, subject to platform rules.

2. Profile accuracy

Interviewers must provide accurate information about their background, seniority, experience, language skills, availability and pricing. Public profiles must not mislead candidates or imply unauthorised endorsement by any employer.

3. Employer confidentiality

Interviewers must comply with all employment, confidentiality, regulatory and professional obligations. They must not share confidential employer information, internal interview questions, restricted materials, client data, trade secrets or non-public information.

4. Semi-anonymous display

TheFinanceRoom may support semi-anonymous profiles such as "VP Fixed Income Interview Mentor" or "Senior Commodity Sales Professional". Exact employer names should only be shown if the interviewer chooses to disclose them and is permitted to do so.

5. Booking confirmation

Paid bookings may require interviewer confirmation before the session is final. If the interviewer rejects, ignores or misses a booking, the candidate may receive a refund and the platform may adjust profile ranking or visibility.

6. Fees and payouts

TheFinanceRoom may charge a platform commission on completed bookings. Interviewer earnings are recorded in the platform ledger and may be paid out through Stripe Connect once onboarding, compliance and payout requirements are complete.

7. Quality review

Where disclosed, sessions may be recorded or transcribed for internal quality review, attendance verification, dispute prevention and safety. TheFinanceRoom may keep an internal quality report, but raw transcripts should not be retained after assessment unless necessary.

8. Prohibited conduct

Interviewers must not:

• promise guaranteed outcomes;
• request off-platform payment for platform-originated bookings;
• solicit candidates outside platform rules;
• harass, discriminate or pressure candidates;
• provide regulated financial, legal, tax or investment advice unless properly authorised and clearly outside the marketplace service.

9. Suspension

TheFinanceRoom may pause profile visibility, hold funds, request clarification or suspend an account where there is suspected fraud, abuse, no-show behaviour, confidentiality risk or policy breach.
