Privacy Policy

TheFinanceRoom uses privacy-by-design defaults. CV/profile parsing is opt-in only. LinkedIn URLs are optional verification links and the product must not scrape LinkedIn or import profile data without explicit consent and approved access.

If you sign in with LinkedIn, TheFinanceRoom may store basic OpenID Connect profile data such as name, email and profile picture where returned by LinkedIn. Public display of that picture depends on your selected profile visibility: private, semi-anonymous or public.

For booked sessions, TheFinanceRoom may process Microsoft Teams meeting metadata, recordings or transcripts where enabled and disclosed. Raw transcript text is used only to create an internal quality and attendance assessment, then deleted after assessment. Limited summaries, scores and audit logs may be retained for disputes, refund review, abuse prevention and service quality.

Suggested expert profiles are semi-anonymous, claimable, support opt-out links, and should be archived after configured unanswered requests or age limits.

Production deployment should define retention, deletion, subprocessors, data export, access controls and incident response with counsel.
